How it works

Press a Button

The Vellux system consists of a station with three buttons: one is pre-programmed to request the bill and the other two can be programmed according to each location’s need: for instance, one can be used to ask for this week restaurant’s special, while the other can be used to simply ask a servant to come to the table in case the client wants to place another order or needs extra details on a menu item.

Waiter Will be Notified

When a client pushed one of the buttons on the station on his table, the servant (or manager) is automatically announced of it through a pager system; the pager looks like a watch that the servant can wear at his wrist and it lets him know the button the client pressed on, as well as the table number – all in real time.

Customer’s Order Delivered

Upon getting the call on his pager, the servant can go to the table and deliver exactly what was asked of him. There is no need to constantly interrupt the client and tamper with his privacy – with the help of the Vellux call button the servers no longer need to check in from time to time; the client can announce his wishes through a single, comfortable and user-friendly click.
